The BANO prizes 2019 recipients were awarded on December 6.
Mrs Xanthippi Koutsoumpou (KU Leuven) received the first prize of €4000 for her work “FDA approved NP cellular hitchhiking system for targeted combination-therapy and diagnosis in glioblastoma”.
Dr Sam Donche (UZ Gent) received the second prize of €3000 for his work “Amino acid positron emission tomography (PET)-guided dose painting in a rat model for glioblastoma”.
